Grayling fishing in lapland

Midnight Sun Fishing Adventures offers a variety of guided grayling fishing trips, with several cooperation companies around Lapland. Here in the northern Scandinavia we have the best grayling waters of whole Europe.

Lapland is a grayling paradise

Welcome to the north, destination for the best grayling fishing in Scandinavia. Here in the remote wildernesses of Lapland, there are lots of natural large-growing grayling populations left, unlike in most parts of the Europe. We can guide you to these places, where we fish for graylings responsibly, with consideration for the natural fish populations. You can fish for grayling in several areas in Lapland, some are close to the civilisation and some far away in the wilderness. One thing is common for all the graylings in the North – in our cold waters they fight really hard, often surprising the visitors from other parts of the Europe with their strength.

Helicopter trips to the Arctic wilderness is a great option, if you want to have a fishing adventure really far from the civilisation. The fish are 100% wild, feed mostly on insects, and fight hard as hell – offering amazing moments for a fly fishing enthusiasts. Midnight Sun Fishing Adventures organises these trips in cooperation with several other guide companies.

We don’t have fixed prices or packages for the grayling fishing trips, since every package is tailored to the customers needs.

Guided grayling fishing techniques

1. FLY FISHING

Definitely the number one technique for grayling fishing in the Northern Scandinavia. Most fun and usually most effective. Our experienced fly fishing guides will provide you with the gear, tips and flies you need to get going, even if you are a beginner.

2. SPIN FISHING

If don’t want to do fly fishing, spin fishing is another, very easy technique to start fishing for grayling. However,  this is not allowed in all of the waters, and not all of the grayling fishing guides have spin fishing gear available.
